Thirteen years to the day after being acquitted of killing his wife and her friend in Los Angeles, O.J. Simpson was found guilty of robbing two sports-memorabilia dealers at gunpoint in a Las Vegas hotel room.

Consumer confidence unexpectedly improves in Sept.
The Conference Board said Tuesday that its Consumer Confidence Index is now at 59.8, up from a revised 58.5 in August. Economists surveyed by Thomson/IFR expected a reading of 55.5.

The latest Gallup daily tracking poll with a rolling 3 night average has the race once again tied a 46%-46%. Meanwhile, the new Zogby tracking poll has McCain leading Obama 45.8% to 43.8%
Two liberal PACs are prepping ads to run against John McCain on his health.
Of course, McCain has already allowed reporters to review 1,100 pages of his medical records (even the NYTimes has begrudgingly acknowledged this) while Barry Obama has only released a 3-page summary of his health records, not the actual medical records.
